The site was bought by Mitcham Woodcraft Folk in 1986 after several years of fundraising efforts including jumble sales, stalls and local fetes. After Mitcham WF’s last group closed, ex member Graham Ruse continued to run the site for WF groups. However, the site has not been active for about three years. A management committee consisting of members of Reigate & Redhill District and members of the WF Bushcraft Group has now taken over the management of the site.
