We have been made aware that Rachel Millward, the Green Party councillor for the Hartfield Ward of Wealden District Council which covers Scarletts, is supportive of what we are doing at the site and would like to come and visit us there. Rachel is part of the ruling group on Wealden Council which is made up of Green Party, Liberal Democrats and Labour in coalition. This is extremely good news for us and should help us develop good relations with the local council. We will of course be inviting her to visit the site and show her around. She is also bi-annually rotating leader of the council and currently deputy leader of the Green Party.
