Scarlett's campsite represents an opportunity for the Woodcraft Folk to extend the scope of its current sites and activity centres, creating an opportunity for general camping, bushcraft activities and participation in a nature restoration project that encourages attendees to return regularly to witness progress.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near East Grinstead in East Sussex, it consists of a field of 4.5 acres surrounded by woods, away from busy roads and sits above Scarlett's Lake and the picturesque valley below.

Why Use Scarlett's campsite?

The site will offer low-cost camping for Woodcraft Districts. Costs are expected to be around £5 per head per night. There is no minimum group size. Sole occupancy of the site is possible for your group.

This is a 'wild camping' style site with a water tap, kitchen area with fireplace and cesspit, also a ceremonial fireplace with amphitheatre-style seating.

There are beautiful walks directly from the campsite. The Vanguard Way and Greensand way National Walking Trails pass a few miles away. Wildlife can be observed all around.
